    For a short time after being hit by lightning silverbacks release additional lightning bolts that do up to 500 damage. They are not immune to lightning, and it does not cause them to do more damage.

Comments

So many numbers! Do not despair. They are quite simple:

Max Health: I'm sure you already understand this.
Regeneration: Every second, a creature standing still regains 35 * regeneration health. Yes, creatures must be standing still, and not frozen or stunned, to regenerate. Except for trolls. They regenerate constantly.
Drain: Drain*damage/1000 gives the amount of health a creature drains from a target.
Speed and flying speed: Higher numbers are surely better.
Ranged Accuracy: Lower numbers are better, but this is complex. We have no time to discuss this now Abraxus, Stratos awaits.
Resistance: Resistance*damage/1000 gives the actual damage taken from an attack or a spell, so lower numbers are better.

Yes, a foolish scribe recorded lower numbers to indicate better ranged accuracy and resistance... No, no need. He has already been shown the depth of his mistake.

Ah yes, you wish to know how my scribes obtained these numbers. All I can tell you is that it was a powerful magic some call Scapex. You see, in his generosity, Stratos granted me the power to know a creature's exact physical state. Using this great gift, I observed as my creatures attacked a harmless, neutral ent with no regeneration and all resistances average (1000). You object? There is a price to be paid for knowledge! He only died a few times. Persephone will never know... Where was I? Ah, yes...I noticed that ranged attackers consistently did the same amount of damage, but not every melee attack was a perfect hit. For the clumbsy creatures who failed to cause maximum damage every time, I noted the most common damage as well and circled it with curves like these: ( ).

All times per attack were measured by timing several attacks with my trusty second-glass. Yes, another gift from the one true god. But remember that these times are for attacks on a stationary creature. If your armies must waste time chasing enemies around the battlefield, they will not attack so quickly. It is for this reason that dragons, while undoubtably powerful, are not so dominant as simple numbers might suggest.

What's that? Do phoenix beams stop healing? Welllll, the scholars of war believe that creatures with mana only heal when they have mana. In fact, they think healing is proportional to mana, so if a creature has half its maximum mana, it only heals half as quickly. By draining mana, phoenixes stop healing. Temporarily.
