Forum Updates

In the next week or so, I will be performing a conversion of the Forums to the last backup/archive to fix the issue of missing posts. During this transition, the Forums might lose its most recent data and not function properly. I'll keep you all posted.

SacPlanet Scheduled Downtime Finished

SacPlanet is now back after a slightly longer than expected maintenance downtime period as my host was switching servers. I posted a notice about this scheduled maintenance around New Years but unexpected delays caused it to only go into effect now.

I am aware of empty threats in the forums and I am working on getting it back to normal. Please let me know if there are any other malfunctions due to this transition.

Site Downtime

SacrificePlanet will be experiencing some downtime starting tonight at 9PM PST/12AM EST for an estimated 24hour period due to our host transferring servers. A thorough backup will be made just in case, even tho there is no threat of data loss. If you experience this site being slow, just bear with the update and backup process.

We should be back up and running January 1st.

More Updates! - 10/29/09

I hope everyone had a great Christmas celebration.

The recent survey What kind of Sacrifice Player are you? has been closed with the following results:

Newbie	19.30% (11)
Active Player	19.30% (11)
Old Returning Player	54.39% (31)
By-passer	7.02% (4)

The majority of you seem to be returning players, which means the return of the site was a success in terms of bringing some old players back.

A new survey is now posted on whether we should have a tourney. Please vote only once, it will determine whether a tourney will be held and what kind.

Other updates will now allow to post comments on news topics (just like this one). Click comments on the top to post.

In addition, IRC Chat Applet has been placed (bottom left) and is active for SacPlanet Registered Users only. This applet will bring you straight to the Skirmish Lobby so you don't have to download IRC.
Note: Do not forget to change your name appropriately once you are there by typing /nick [YourNick].

More updates on the way: The new patch auto-installation file will be posted shortly in our Downloads section. Also, a comprehensize .ZIP file will be compiled from our SacPlanet's database of all maps. This file will be posted in our Downloads section as well. The comprehensive databse of all Sacrifice maps can be found HERE.

Sacrifice Scenarios are Here!

Sacrifice scenarios are finally uploaded thanks to Shaun_of_Light. You can download them individually HERE or you can get them all at once in a .RAR file HERE.

Scenarios are played as Single Player and are created by fans to resemble a single or multi-level campaign type gameplay or simply for entertainment purposes. This compilation is full of scenarios made by fans over many years. Please let me know if you find one that is missing from this list.

New Updates

There have been a few new updates to our download section:

Sacrifice Selection Map Pack - Tree-Hugger's compilation of the most popular and latest Sacrifice Maps. This is a must have for an online Sacrifice player. This file is available for download in our Downloads section.

(3) Elura - is a new 3 FFA map released by DeathWalker and is posted in the Latest Maps Section (on the right side) to download.

Attention all map makers: if you wish your map to be posted in the Latest Maps section, please announce it with a short description in the Map Works topic in our Forums under the Scapex topic. Furthermore, if you wish to have your map uploaded or added to a map pack, email me and attach your map at Annihilator@SacrificePlanet.net. This applies to any other download as well.

SacPlanet Reunion Party!

Now is the time to log off of SacPlanet and come celebrate its return and of many old players in the Sacrifice Lobby. There will be plenty of games going on for the next several hours in the Sacrifice lobb - come join us.

SacPlanet Return Party! - 12/12/09

As a measure to celebrate the return of the site, we will be holding a SacPlanet Return Party this Saturday!
